Create a CV (ensure this is tailored to the job you are applying for and state that you are looking for part time work)

Company and shopping centre websites are updated all the time so make sure you check them regularly for new vacancies
Lots of companies take on extra staff at Christmas and throughout summer so don’t forget to keep looking. Applications for Christmas staff can open as early as September so make sure you apply early.
Vacancies may become available during the summer and early autumn when employees leave to start university.
If money not is not your main objective, you could consider volunteering as a great way of gaining experience of work
