Two young people from Watford and Three Rivers named as Leading Young Citizens

Prianka and Georgina took part in the National Citizen Service (NCS) projects run by Hertfordshire County Council Youth Connexions. Both were chosen from 80,000 national nominees to join a group of just 100 National Citizen Service Leaders, and took part in Leaders Week in London.
Young Film-makers from Chorleywood get inspiration at Elstree Studios

A team of young people from the Three Rivers District were inspired by a tour of Elstree Studios last Friday, which they had won as a prize earlier in the year with their film, ‘Confidence’.

What does Bullying Mean to You?

Young people who attend the Chorleywood Film Project run by Youth Connexions have made and produced a film about bullying. This will contribute their views to national Anti-Bullying week, which takes place 16th - 20th November and has as a theme ‘Make a Noise about bullying’.

Members of Herts1125 Who not What (WnW), the young LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and questioning) strategic group for the county, have been volunteering their time to work with Hertfordshire County Council Youth Connexions to develop a new website offering support and guidance to their peers.
