The Youth Connexions ‘Rocket into the Future’ programme suite encourages students to think about their skills and future aspirations. Ralph Sadleir Middle School in Puckeridge chose the Landing and Exploration module for a two day session.
Students inspired by new opportunities during careers carousel

Youth Connexions recently coordinated a one day careers event for Key Stage 5 students at Presdales School in Ware. Students participated in an energetic careers carousel where they had the chance to meet local, national and global employers and seek advice and information.
Young People from Watford and Three Rivers complete their Bronze DofE Practice Expedition

42 young people from across Watford and Three Rivers who are working towards their Bronze DofE awards took part in a very successful practice expedition during June. ‘Expedition’ is one of four required components of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme, the other three being Volunteering, Physical and Skills.

Youth Connexions delivered the careers group work course Rocket into the Future across the whole spring term in The Grange Junior School, Letchworth Garden City. The module introduces children in years 5 and 6 to the choices ahead, and starts them thinking about their skills, aspirations and opportunities.

Youth Connexions received award for DofE success at Buckingham Palace

On 16th May, Jonathan Jack, Youth Connexions Engagement Manager, attended a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) Gold Award Presentation at Buckingham Palace. Youth Connexions received a special plaque, acknowledging Hertfordshire County Council’s commitment to running the DofE since 1974.
