The Hyde youth project opens its doors to young people in Shephall

A new project which opened its doors to young people this weekend in Shephall, Stevenage will give Young People the opportunity to participate in a multitude of activities and programmes ranging from; creative arts, music and media production, maintaining healthy relationships, sexual health and careers information and guidance.
Youth Mayor election process gets underway in Stevenage

Young people from across Stevenage met last week for an information evening about the election of the next Youth Mayor. This signalled the start of the Youth Mayor election process to decide on who takes over the position from the current Stevenage Youth Mayor Emma Chapman.

Young people from the across St Albans raised £185 for the counselling charity Youth Talk and OLLIE (One Life Lost Is Enough), a charity which raises awareness in schools about suicide prevention, as part of the National Citizen Service (NCS) with Hertfordshire County Council Youth Connexions.

Year 9 pupils at Marriotts School in Stevenage gained a colourful and first class insight to the world of work at their annual careers fair, which second year running offers young people careers guidance and a range of services from local employers, providers and Hertfordshire County Council Youth Connexions.
